NASUWT Manchester invites you to an important event on Performance Management.

You may be aware that the government has proposed changes to the current performance management provisions. The proposals could mean significant changes to teachers. You need to know about these changes and more importantly how you can challenge them.

In order to prepare for any change, NASUWT Manchester invites you to a Performance Management Briefing Session to be held:

Registration will begin at 9:30am for a 10:00am start. The briefing will finish around 12:30pm with lunch and a chance to network afterwards.

  • FREE NASUWT membership for the calendar year in which you qualify.
  • then, if you agree to pay your future membership subscriptions by direct debit, you will continue to receive FREE membership for the whole of the following calendar year.
  • membership subscription for the subsequent year would be 50% of the full membership rate.
  • therefore as a new teacher qualifying in 2012 you would not have to pay a full NASUWT subscription until January 2015.

If you decide not to pay by direct debit you will still get FREE subscriptions for the calendar year in which you qualify followed by a 50% subscriptions reduction for your first two calendar years of teaching.
